Jakub Cędrowski

Jakub Cędrowski, engineer, is a doctoral student and academic teacher at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw. The scientific topics he deals with are related to the study of the kinetics and mechanisms of action of plant antioxidants (polyphenols, isothiocyanates). He is the author of several scientific publications in international journals, e.g. in Angewandte Chemie International Edition; Food Chemistry or Chemistry-A European Journal and the author of 2 monographs in books on the chemistry of free radicals and antioxidants. During his scientific career, MSc. Cędrowski completed four foreign scientific internships at Dipartimento di Chimica Organica "G. Ciamician”, Universita di Bologna (Italy) and was the head of the PRELUDIUM research grant for young scientists financed by the National Science Center (NCN).

Jakub Cędrowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw, where he obtained a master's degree in chemistry (2011). His diploma thesis in cooperation with the National Medicines Institute (NIL) concerned the cytotoxic activity of new palladium complexes. He is also a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he obtained the professional title of engineer in the field of Chemical Technology (2017). In 2016, he founded his own company, JC Chemicals, where he produces professional cleaning agents for glass surfaces. Since April 2021, he has been a member of the research and development department of Innox.
